Gastrotrichs are small in length, and generally colourless worms that are related to both nematodes and turbellarian flatworms. They often found living in aquatic environments, either marine or freshwater and they feed on a variety of living and dead organic matter. Gastrotrichs have a brain that consists of two ganglia. Each ganglia runs the length of the body and has other small ganglia which branch from the main ones to cover the whole body.
